I got my photographic start in Aspen, Colorado where I went to ski and never left.
I opened a small ad agency called Studio Three. When I found I
couldn't get the images I wanted, I picked up a
camera and learned by trial and error. After a few years,
I found myself enjoying it so much I gave it more
and more attention. I began doing sports photography
along with assignments for various magazines in the US and
abroad. I was hooked. I began trading in my advertising work for the
Soon thereafter, I was asked to do a
test shoot by the Leo Burnett ad agency for their
Marlboro campaign. It was sucessful and that began an
incredible journey that lasted for over 13 years.
I am now semi-retired after a career of over 45 years as a
photographer. I am now focused on special assignments,
advocacy for artists and fine-art. I still continue capturing
images of the Great American West.
